Had the privilege to service one of Los Angeles most Legendary venues this past weekend, the Park Plaza.Historic, glamorous and definitely one of a kind: Park Plaza’s magnificent architecture and stunning decor provided the perfect backdrop for Kim's Wedding!Wedding Ceremony took place Open Air in the Courtyard, decorated Gazebo and Gold Chivairi Chairs fit in perfectly.Sound was provided and placed inside the Ballroom facing out while being covered by a drape, in other words you can hear but not see, as it should be. Once the Cermony was over the guest proceeded to the Cocktail Room in the Gold Room and the final touches to the Ballroom where done.Ambient Uplights and PinSpots for Centerpieces made the perfect combination to make the Room even more special.Click on the Video below:Park Plaza SetupEntertainment and Presentation was key for the customer and this was made clear with the Special Effects (Dry Ice) and Art Dancers displayed during the Opening of the Ballroom for dinner Overall the night was truly a magical, we are so happy to have been able to be a part of this Special Wedding!
Ferrari of Newport Beach has been a great customer of ours for the past few years. From lighting up there Showrooms off PCH to the opening of their sister store Maserati of Newport Beach, they have given us the privilege to provide our services. The team in-house is always great to work with and well the showroom and cars? C'mon they’re Ferraris! What more can you ask for, right?The personal service that Ferrari brings to its customers is phenomenal. This year they held a Customer Appreciation Dinner at Mastros Ocean Club. This past Saturday we got to service a Historical Landmark, the Los Angeles Union Station. for Accenture's Yearly Corporate Event. Working with our good Friend and Coordinator Julie Tran, we were able to provide our lighting service and enhance the visuals from the Venue. While the Venue Location is breathtaking for it's vintage 1930's decor, we quickly realized during the planning stage that we needed to provide some additional assistance with power, so with this said, power distribution was provided by an external generator. A couple of distro boxes where placed and problem solved! Unloading was not difficult at all, the representative from Hollywood Locations was VERY helpful and knowledgeable of the venue. Equipment was quickly loaded into the venue and set-up was a breeze. Providing everything from Uplights to Leko Gobo projections to Video Playback, our instal crew had it all ready to go in under 2 hours.
The venue definitely got an upgrade with the Lighting!
Placing the company logo on top the entry archway was the personal touch given to the venue for the night. With our DMX programmable lighting we are able to flip thru colors and choose one that best fits the decor. Located near Mountain Rubidoux we come along to a restored plantation style home called The Crestmore Manor, in what used to be the stables in the back, there is now a reception center used by many for weddings and special events.However with this wedding being held in October, an outdoor reception was in order.The layout was completely designed by the lovely couple Javer & Cindy. We got the call to provide our Bistro String Lighting and Dancefloor Wash. Located in the heart of the Temecula Wine Valley, we arrived to a beautiful Wedding Location, The Ponte Family Estate Winery. This was Lyda and Darrell's BIG DAY! Booked months in advance we where able to meet and plan out every detail that the couple had in mind, from the lighting scheme to placement and cues.The Ceremony was placed at the perfect location, facing the vineyard, with Elegant seating and a chandelier above the Altar, no detail was overlooked.The Reception area was great to work with, Vaulted Ceilings, Chandeliers and a Light Plum uplighting, this gave the Room the Elegance deisred by the couple.

This last week we had the honor of providing our Lighting Services to Alcatel One Touch Corporate Sales Event held at the lovely Newport Dunes Back Bay Bistro in Newport Beach. The daytime event was held in the Restaurant itself, we provided Audio and Video Support along with On-Site assistance to ensure the Sales Meeting ran smoothly.Come evening time, we transformed this venue into a LIVELY LED-LIT VENUE, from the parking you can see clearly "where the party is". Working hand in hand with Alcatel's planner, Virginia, we where able to create a Elegant yet Fun-filled Atmosphere. The decor was based using the Alcatel One Touch Blue. The table setting and centerpiece where both choosen by Virginia and the Dancefloor was provided by us...YES we now provide Seamless White Dancefloors. These really stand out with the proper lighting.

June 13, 2013 we had the pleasure of providing our Lighting Services to one of Southern California’s premier dealerships, Maserati of Newport Beach. Event was held from 6pm to 9pm with Italian Decor, Hors d'oeuvres and music by a live violinist.With their Flagship store, Ferrari of Newport Beach next door, this store has its own style of decor and layout. Included in the Grand Opening Celebrations was the introduction of Maserati's new member of their luxurious fleet...The Maserati QuattroporteThe Maserati Quattroporte is a luxury four-door saloon made by Maserati in Italy. The name translated from Italian literally means "four doors". One of the Events we serviced this past weekend was held at the Vibiana. This Venue has 130 years of rich Los Angeles history, 35,000 square feet of luxurious space, baroque inspired interiors, an expansive lush garden, all set in the heart of downtown.The venue hosts a wide range of events including fashion shows, fundraisers, live entertainment, and wedding ceremonies and receptions.Like many venues, we had a scheduled arrival time of 11am. Our install took about 4 hours. We placed over 40 Ambient LED Wash Uplights set to Eggplant Purple, 2 Design Lights with Amber gels, 4 Intelligent Moving Heads, 32 Pin Spots and a Projection Screen in the balcony. Since the Venue is primarily white in color with Marble pillars, we did our best to Highlight the Architecture by adding a wash of color. Wilson Creek Winery is nestled at the end of Rancho California Road in the Temecula Wine Valley and produces high quality wines and champagnes, including their Famous Almond Champagne, which we are fans of! Friday April 19th could not come any sooner, we where anxiously awaiting the drive down the 15fwy.Once arriving we knew this was going to be a great Venue to work at, our communication with the Coordinator Sue-Lin was excellent, she made us feel right at home once we arrived. She gave us a tour of the Venue and offered refreshments. The location of the evenings Wedding Reception was the "Champagne Ball Room" and once walking inside we know that the color chosen by the couple "Amber" would blend in very well. We had a friend from Black Rider Studios, Tony Ruiz, meet us there to capture some shots for our portfolio.We tried to blend in the Lighting with the brides inspiration "The Peacock", look at what our designers came up with for the Monogram:The bride LOVED the design. We had a great time setting up this Event, the location brought back many memories from our first visit. This last Saturday's Event was indeed EPIC. We were able to work alongside a great group of vendors and Event Coordinators at the California Science Center in Los Angeles Ca.The Corporate Function was held alongside a piece of history, the Endeavour Space Shuttle! Recently retired from Space flights, it has found a home in DTLA.With Casino Royal being the Events Theme, it was decided to WASH the Hangar with Teal LED's without compromising the Shuttles appearance, so we made sure to spotlight Endeavour with nothing more than the good old' Lekos. What do you need to know about event lighting? There are some common features and effects that really bring an event together, and it’s good to be familiar with the terms that describe them as well as their roles.Uplighting causes color and light to wash a room, accentuating the natural appeal of a space and playing off the wedding’s color scheme.
